Craft Open Shop

Craft Open Shop provides shared workspace and equipment for Tool Library Members to work on their own craft projects. It's also a great way to meet other makers. Please bring a friend and help us create a craft community together. If your friend is not a member, please email jenn@toollibrary.org to add them to your appointment.

As a community shop we support all skill levels and interests, we encourage questions and clear communication, and we expect our members to always prioritize people before their projects and deadlines.

Please join us in building a positive workshop community! Open Shop is made possible by our dedicated team of volunteer Shop Monitors. For more information please visit our FAQ (need edits) page or email jenn@toollibrary.org.

Upcoming Sewing Sunday Schedule:

2026 Sewing Sundays- Every Last Sunday of the Month

Join us in the Craft Shop for Sewing Sundays, when an experienced sewist is on hand all day to help finish your sewing projects, learn a new pattern, or teach you how to hem, mend, and tailor your clothes to fit your own body. Sewing Sundays are a great opportunity to level up your skills, reacquaint yourself with the machine, or peacefully work alongside other sewists.

All levels of experience welcome but we recommend taking a class with us if you are brand new to sewing!
