Ever thought about volunteering at the Station North Tool Library? We’re looking for amazing people to join our amazing crew of 3 dogs and more than 45 humans. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds, walks of life, and experience levels are all encouraged to apply.
Some of the volunteer roles we’re currently looking for help with include:
Artscape Project Volunteer: We’ll need help in early July building, painting, and creating our annual installation at Artscape! This is a short term, help out when you can kind of project for all experience levels.
Librarian: This is a long-term, weekly position. Experience with tools and woodworking is nice, but definitely not required. For more information, visit our volunteering page.
Shop Monitor: This is a long-term, weekly position. In-depth knowledge of machinery in the woodworking shop is required. For more information, visit our volunteering page.
Craft Classroom Monitor: This is a new position! You’ll need to have a background in crafts like knitting, weaving, sewing, etc. For more information, visit our volunteering page.
Have another idea of how you can get involved? Awesome! Bring it with you!
If you are able to attend this information session, we would really appreciate it! Having one big meeting instead of lots of little meetings will help us be more efficient.
Really can’t make it that day? That’s okay, we understand that people’s schedules are busy and not everyone works a 9 to 5. Get in touch with us by completing the form on our volunteering page and we’ll reach out!
